Welcome to MUN!
If you are new, this is the page to read first.
Welcome to Model United Nations!
Whether this is your first time hearing about MUN or you are getting ready for your first conference, you do not need any previous experience to get started. Everyone begins somewhere, and MUN is all about learning through experience.
As a delegate, you will represent a country, explore global issues, debate with other students, negotiate solutions, and work together to solve real-world problems. Along the way, you will build confidence, improve your speaking, meet new people, and learn how countries approach some of the biggest challenges facing the world.
And most importantly, MUN is FUN. Conferences are energetic, social, competitive, and full of opportunities to try new things. You will get to speak, collaborate, challenge ideas, make friends, and experience what it is like to step into the role of a diplomat.
Some parts of MUN may seem unfamiliar at first, but you are not expected to know everything right away. Through training, practice sessions, conferences, and support from more experienced members, you will learn everything you need along the way.
So be curious, get involved, ask questions, and don't be afraid to give it a try. We're excited to have you here!
